Leishman put in the MAVRIK Driver in his first start of 2020 at the Sony Open in Hawaii. Our new MAVRIK Drivers are designed with Artificial Intelligence to create our Flash Face SS20 Technology. Flash Face SS20 promotes fast ball speed across a more expansive area of each model and loft, and this new face architecture required FS2S titanium, an extremely strong material that’s 6 grams lighter than traditional titanium to promote optimal speed, forgiveness, and spin robustness. And the new Cyclone shape in his MAVRIK Driver enhances aerodynamics to reduce drag for faster head speed. Leishman’s transition into MAVRIK was an easy one – he immediately noticed tighter dispersion, a jump in ball speed, and he liked the easy workability with the club. MAVRIK is off to a strong start in 2020, and Callaway continues to be the #1 Driver brand across the major worldwide Tours.
Leishman had a mixed set of Apex Pro Irons and Apex MB Irons, and he has played the JAWS MD5 Wedges, which feature our aggressive JAWS Grooves and our new Groove-in-Groove Technology for more spin and control, since last Fall.
He has consistently played an Odyssey Versa Putter on Tour, and he has used a Chrome Soft X Golf Ball in his PGA Tour wins at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, the BMW Championship, and the CIMB Classic.
