Italian Staffer Renato Paratore wins British Masters after an outstanding front-running tournament week with his Callaway MAVRIK Driver
(Chessington, UK – July 26, 2020) Callaway Staff Professional Renato Paratore put on an outstanding week-long display of big-hitting MAVRIK driving to dominate the Betfred British Masters at Close House Golf Club, and win his second PGA European Tour title.

Underlining the power of MAVRIK, the 23-year-old Italian is now averaging 323.5 yards off the tee this season, and his display of big-hitting at Close House helped him to a resounding three-stroke, 18-under-par win at the first full European Tour event for nearly five months.
Claiming the €196,690 winner’s cheque, a jubilant Renato, who celebrated on the 18th green with a video call to his proud mother in Italy, said: “This one feels amazing. I am really, really happy. I did not expect to come back and win so soon after lockdown but I have worked really hard the last year. I plan to play the next five events and I said to my team the goal was definitely to get one of the 10 qualifying places for the US Open (Winged Foot Golf Club in September).”
Renato enjoyed a victory ‘guard of honour’ from his fellow players as he left the final green of the golf resort near Newcastle-upon-Tyne, after dominating the tournament with a full bag of Callaway and Odyssey equipment.
