Callaway has today revealed the new Rogue Driver and Fairway Wood family, unlocking greater Jailbreak distance with increased forgiveness for all golfers.
Below are links to some of the media coverage received throughout Europe.
Martin Hopley – editor:“Overall the Callaway Rogue driver manages to successfully move on from the Epic driver, even if big brother is still lurking in the background somewhere… For those who found that the Epic was not forgiving enough, then the Rogue is really everything you could want in a driver…”
NATIONAL CLUB GOLFER
James Savage:“Rogue is a fantastic product, looks sounds and feels great…it feels really solid and comes off the face very fast… Does the Callaway Rogue driver improve on the Epic? Yes, I’m pretty certain it does.”
David Cunninghame:“Rogue is up there with the longest drivers I’ve tested…”
Kit Alexander:“Despite slightly slower clubhead speed with Rogue (versus M3) ball speed was better (than M3) which shows that the forgiveness Callaway has built into Rogue, along with Jailbreak Technology, is doing exactly what it says it’s going to do…it is lower spinning than you would expect and to get the best out of it you may need to loft up slightly…”
Joel Tadman:“Adding another premium driver to its range for 2018 may seem a bold move for Callaway but Rogue has the performance to back it up. Those who have invested in Epic won’t be losing out considerably by not upgrading, but Rogue does seem to be slightly more forgiving and feel better too… “
Tim Starke – chief in editor:“With a fitting, the Rogue woods will help many golfers hit fairways.”
Johannes Gardener – editor:“This wood will surely be found in the bags of world stars”
GOLF & TURISMO
Jan Langenbein – editor:“Callaway wants to take control of the planet’s tea boxes in 2018. The name fits perfectly: Rogue.”
