(Chessington, UK – November 26, 2023) Callaway Staffer Min Woo Lee relied on the power and precision of a Paradym Driver and Fairway Wood to seal a superb home soil victory at the Australian PGA Championship at Royal Queensland Golf Club.
Clinching the prestigious title by a comfortable three-shot margin, the 25-year-old, nicknamed ‘The Cook’, led the field in Driving – Strokes Gained (off the tee) to secure his third DP World Tour title in front of a home crowd.
Min Woo, who used a full bag of Callaway and Odyssey products, was also 1st in Scoring – Stroke Average, and Strokes Gained across all four rounds, that saw him card 64, 66, 66, 68, for a -20 total.
It was the Aussie Staffer’s second win in a month, having earned his third pro victory at the Macao Open on the Asian Tour in October.
Min Woo is the fourth Australian PGA Championship winner since the tournament joined the DP World Tour schedule in 2016. He said: “I’ve always thought I could win, but it took a while to get over the hump, but two wins in the last month or so!
“I made it interesting early on and through the middle, but ended up hanging on, so I’m really proud.”
In addition to Paradym Woods, Min Woo’s was using an Odyssey Tri Hot 5K Double Wide Putter and a Callaway Chrome Soft X Golf Ball, featuring Precision Technology.

Min Woo’s latest victory, at the beginning of the 2024 Race to Dubai, comes hot-on-the-heels of another important Callaway win last weekend – Denmark’s Nicolai Højgaard winning the 2023 season-ending DP World Tour Championship.
