Here are this week’s biggest Callaway equipment notes on Tour:

Schauffele’s Putter Stays Hot

Xander Schauffele reached the playoff this week thanks in large part to his Odyssey Stroke Lab Tuttle Putter. He led the field in birdies for the week (with 28) and also led the field in Putts Per GIR with his gamer puter, which he first put into play at the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach – where he finished in the top 5. Xander has said that this putter will likely be in the bag for a long time and he particularly likes the consistency from the Stroke Lab Shaft and the alignment from the three lines on the putter head.

Odyssey Wins Putter Count At Every Major Tour Event

Odyssey was once again the #1 Putter at every major Tour event this week, including the WGC HSBC Champions (with over 43% of all putters in play) and at the other PGA Tour event in Bermuda. This success is led in large part by the popularity of our Stroke Lab Putters and shafts.

Retief Goosen WITB – Invesco QQQ Championship

Here’s what Callaway staffer Retief Goosen has in the bag this week on the Champions Tour:

  • Epic Flash Sub Zero Driver (9*) – Matrix Shaft
  • Epic Flash Fairway Wood (15*) – Mitsubishi Shaft
  • Rogue Hybrid (19*) – Mitsubishi Shaft
  • X-Forged 18 Irons (4-PW) – True Temper Elevate X Shafts
  • Mack Daddy Forged Wedges (52*, 56*, 60*) – True Temper Elevate X Shafts
  • A Chrome Soft X Golf Ball
  • Odyssey Stroke Lab Black Ten Putter

Goosen joined Callaway as a staffer this year and has had an Epic Flash Sub Zero Driver in play throughout the year, including at his major win at the Senior Players Championship. He recently put in our new Stroke Lab Black Ten Putter, which features our Stroke Lab shaft and a super high MOI head shape to promote maximum forgiveness. He currently leads the field this week in Putts Per GIR.
